Media Portfolio| A snapshot of some of my communications work

Thank you for taking the time to review my communications and media portfolio. Throughout my career as political staffer and community advocate I have been tasked with the responsibility of engaging the public through the use of the press. I understand that mastering and effectively navigating the press is vitally important when communicating a message, campaign platform or new policies, and ideas to the public. In this portfolio you will find examples of news interviews that I arranged for two former employers through carefully written press releases (click here to see a sample of my press releases) and successful media pitches, in addition to the preparation of talking points for their news appearances. In this portfolio you will also find two new media interviews that I participated in with local media, along with a featured opinion editorial that I wrote for Politic365. It is my belief that this collection of work displays my superior abilities to successfully engage the news media in substantive dialogue around a variety of issues and topics.
